To orient patients and family members to surrounding environment, acting as a patient advocate. To collect patient assessment data and notify RN of potential problems. To evaluate patient s response to care and report findings to RN, document delivery of patient care, effectively respond to emergency situations, demonstrate positive interpersonal skills, meet patient s educational needs, and serve as a role model to other members of the patient care team.
