Compensation: – $26.56 – $44.35- For the Weekend Baylor position, employee will work 24 scheduled weekend hours and will be paid the equivalent of 36 hours.Unit Details: The Unit for Neuroscience Nursing is a 20-bed acute care unit that cares for patients with neurological illnesses and injuries like epilepsy and glioblastomas, as well as those having neurosurgery and spinal surgery. This unit also treats patients undergoing ketamine infusion therapy and those who have an externalized shunt or lumbar drain. This team has a strong focus on patient safety and has been consistently recognized for preventing patients from getting a central line-associated bloodstream infection (CLABSI). Job Description:To utilize the nursing process to care and/or counsel individuals in the promotion and maintenance of health and the prevention of illness and injury.
