Responsible for the delivery of patient care through the nursing process of assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Coordinates and provides age-specific care for persons with wounds including but not limited to pressure ulcers, vascular ulcers, diabetic ulcers, trauma, STRN, skin tears, etc. The RN will also educate staff, families, patients, and the community about the specialized care relating to wounds and dressings. Collaborates with other professional disciplines to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and the achievement of desired patient outcomes. Data will also be collected for care improvement opportunities.
