We are seeking a Unit Charge Nurse for the New Heart & Vascular Observation Unit. The role involves planning, coordinating, and directing daily operations of a specific shift on a clinical unit, supervising staff, and facilitating communication with physicians and administrators to provide optimal patient and family-centered care.
Roles Responsibility
Supervising staff, facilitating communication with physicians and administrators, leading efforts to strengthen organizational systems, demonstrating expertise in clinical care and leadership, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures, managing resources and cost containment activities, mentoring other Registered Nurses, evaluating the impact of policies, supporting administrative decisions, empowering and advocating for nurses, addressing customer concerns and complaints, providing educational programs, completing performance reviews, maintaining educational requirements, incorporating Synergy model for care in assignments. Desired Qualification
Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Nursing license approved by the Georgia Licensing Board, BLS certification required, Certification preferred Type
