SUMMARY:We are currently seeking a Staff Nurse to join our ***** Assault Response Team (HART)
This position is a 0.6FTE (4 shifts/ pay period), 12-hour shifts, Nights (working 8 pm-8 am), and Every Third Weekend. On Call per unit policy.
The ***** Assault Response Team provides trauma-informed medical-forensic services to patients of all ages who have experienced acute sexual assault or physical violence in a current or former intimate relationship; children experiencing sexual abuse; and patients at risk for human trafficking and sexual exploitation. Our team of forensic nurses completes exams at several hospitals including ***** *****’s downtown campus.
RESPONSIBILITIES:Within the context of the ***** ***** System Patient and Family Centered Care model, and under general supervision, the registered nurse provides and coordinates nursing care by:
Protecting, promoting, and optimizing health
Preventing illness and injury
Alleviating suffering through the treatment of the human response
Partnering with the patient, their family and significant others
Documenting interventions and an individualized plan of care
