SUMMARY:We are currently seeking a Staff Nurse to join our Acute Psychiatric Services (APS) unit.
This position is a 0.7 FTE (7 shifts/ pay period), 8-hour shifts, Nights and Every other Weekend.
Acute Psychiatric Services (APS) is a 24 hour psychiatric emergency department that provides emergency assessment, intervention, and referral services to persons experiencing urgent/emergent mental health problems.
A sign-on bonus ($8,000.00) is available for eligible external candidates (current employees and former employees returning to HHS within one year are ineligible).

RESPONSIBILITIES:Within the context of the ***** ***** System Patient and Family Centered Care model, and under general supervision, the registered nurse provides and coordinates nursing care by:
Protecting, promoting, and optimizing health
Preventing illness and injury
Alleviating suffering through the treatment of the human response
Partnering with the patient, their family and significant others
Documenting interventions and an individualized plan of care
