Roles Responsibility
Apply the Synergy Model for Care in practice, personalize care for each patient/family, serve as a resource to colleagues, advocate for patients/families, communicate effectively, deliver safe and effective care, utilize the nursing process independently, document accurately and in the appropriate format, plan and implement patient care, incorporate patient/family input in the plan of care, evaluate patient's response to care and adjust plan as necessary, identify patient and family learning needs, manage time effectively, revise policies based on evidence-based research, delegate appropriately, utilize interdisciplinary team resources, function in a developing leadership role, orient staff or students as assigned, listen effectively, reduce communication barriers, individualize care based on patient and family knowledge, advocate for patients, maintain confidentiality, accept personal accountability for professional development, participate in unit-specific issues. Desired Qualification
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, BLS certification, ACLS certification may be required, valid, active unencumbered Nursing license or temporary permit approved by the Georgia Licensing Board Type
