RN – Registered Nurse – VAD Coordinator – Days (018)


To support the holistic care of the ventricular assist device (VAD) patient throughout the entirety of the therapy. To serve as an integral part of the medical team and be involved in a significant part of the patient s care including care and follow-up once the patient leaves the hospital. To ensure the post-implant patient is prepared for self-care prior to discharge. To see the patient in clinic, coordinate the patient s care in their home community and facilitate readmission for complications of device therapy. To train the patient s community first responder resources. To travel with the ***** critical care transport team to assist in safe transport of the VAD patient.
Pay Range: $73,881.60 – $108,305.60 / Year

Bachelor of Science in Nursing, VAD, Critical care, Cardiovascular, Cardiac surgical, Cardiac transplant, Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
