In addition to our many benefits and perks, UAB Medicine provides a variety of resources to support employees both personally and professionally.Unit Details:The High-Risk Obstetrics Unit is an 18-bed intermediate care unit that provides comprehensive care to high-risk antepartum patients. Nurses on this unit assess and monitor patients and fetuses, report changes in clinical status to providers, provide patient education, respond to obstetric emergencies, and participate in shared decision-making with the interdisciplinary care team.UAB Women & Infants Services provides compassionate, comprehensive care for mothers and babies in our state-of-the-art Women & Infants Center, which is recognized as a Baby-Friendly birth facility by Baby-Friendly USA.
