Assume responsibilities for direct nursing care of assigned patients under the supervision of a registered nurse or physician in patient care area. Administer medications and special nursing care techniques prescribed for assigned patients. Provides nursing services to patients and families in accordance with the scope of the LPN as defined by the North Carolina Board of Nursing.

Administer medications as prescribed, Employ special nursing care techniques, Administer intravenous medications and fluids, Assist with instrument processing and scheduling appointments, Provide and document direct nursing care under supervision, Assist in diagnostic procedures and patient teaching, Evaluate nursing care and patient responses, Assist in policy development and implementation, Participate in clinical or operational performance improvement, Assist in equipment maintenance and report malfunctions, Participate in in-service education and conferences, Assist in training and onboarding of new employees, Act as liaison for clinic committees, Perform other related duties as assigned Desired Qualification
