***** University Hospital Midtown is seeking an experienced CVICU RN to join the 12-bed Cardiovascular Thoracic Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) to care for critically ill patients post-operative surgical procedures.
Roles Responsibility
Capable clinician caring for patients, utilizing nursing process, assessing patient needs, delivering safe care independently, documenting nursing process, planning and implementing patient care, evaluating patient responses and adjusting care plan, identifying patient learning needs, managing time effectively, delegating appropriately, functioning in a developing leadership role, utilizing resources responsibly, demonstrating effective communication and conflict resolution skills, individualizing care based on patient and family knowledge, advocating for patient needs, maintaining confidentiality, accepting professional development accountability, collecting and providing data, revising and evaluating effectiveness of patient care documentation, participating within the unit to address discipline-specific issues and needs.
