***** ***** seeks a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join the Urology Team at a Level 1 Trauma Center.
Roles Responsibility
Independently manage urological patients in the clinic setting, Shared inpatient rounding and consults with other Urology APP’s, Conduct comprehensive and interval physical assessments, Provide patient education and counseling, involve patients in the plan of care, Order and interpret appropriate labs, radiological studies & tests pertinent to urology, Work with the team of APP’s to ensure the right patient is scheduled with the right provider, Collaborate with other team members to provide excellent, patient-centered care, Provide feedback to referring provider, Help develop standard work in the care of the Urology patients by leading quality improvement projects, Interact with residents and assist with their education and growth, Participate in research within the department if desired, Desire or interest in men’s health is preferable but not required Desired Qualification
Master of Science in Nursing, Current MN license to practice as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse, Certification in the area of specialization, BLS certification Type
