The Team Leader Nurse Practitioner is responsible for facilitating, coordinating, and evaluating the continuous and comprehensive management of a broad range of ***** services for which the certified registered nurse practitioner is educationally prepared and for which competency is maintained, with physician collaboration as described by the Collaboration Practice Requirements. The Team Leader Nurse Practitioner is responsible to the Director of Professional Practice and collaborating physicians. He or she serves as mentor to the nurse practitioner and demonstrates consistent ability to act as a role model by providing direction in the comprehensive management of ***** care services provided by nurse practitioners. Thus, the primary roles of the Team Leader Nurse Practitioner are to perform as a clinical leader, facilitator, evaluator, role model, mentor, preceptor and coordinator of care and services in their assigned area.
This role offers 24 hour shifts, requiring 10 shifts over a 6 week period.

Roles Responsibility
Act as a clinical leader, facilitator, evaluator, mentor, preceptor, and care coordinator. Provide direction in the comprehensive management of ***** care services.
Desired Qualification
RN in the State of Alabama, National Certification as Nurse Practitioner, Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner (CRNP)
