Manages the daily operations of the assigned nursing unit(s) or function(s) to ensure alignment with departmental and organizational objectives.
Roles Responsibility
Assist with developing specific departmental goals, standards, and objectives which directly support the strategic plan and vision of the organization, Manage staff relations including performance management, staff satisfaction, and conflict management, Perform and oversee scheduling, recruitment, payroll, and student engagements, Monitor departmental budgets, regulatory compliance, departmental contracts, and vendor relations, Determine and justify needs for systems/equipment/supplies purchases, monitor usage, and oversee proper working order and/or stock supplies, Assess the quality of patient care delivered and coordinate patient care services with patients, staff, physicians, and other departments, Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision, Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate action Desired Qualification
