General Responsibilities Under general supervision and according to established policies, procedures, and in compliance with federal and state laws, to perform contract abor sourcing and onboarding. Duties include interviewing and assessment of qualifications of applicants; and referring qualified candidates to user departments. To collaborate with leaders and vendors to align recruitment efforts with unit needs, new unit openings, problem solving related to coverage needs of the organization as a whole. Key Duties & Responsibilities
1. Coordinates traveler orientation and training of new staff. Provides support for hiring managers and ongoing assessment of organizational needs for traveler recruitment
2. Leads and facilitates recruitment for vacant positions. Serves as a liaison between nursing leadership and recruitment efforts of Temporary travel staff.
3. Proactively identifies future hiring needs for inpatient and perioperative services
4. Acts as the lead liaison between UAB and external vendors for Nursing travel contracts, addendums, serves as primary contact
5. Performs other duties as assigned.
