The System Dialysis Registered Nurse is responsible for planning, organizing, implementing and evaluating hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis treatments within the assigned ***** ***** facility. This person coordinates, delegates, and provides direct nursing care for patients by working cooperatively with patients, family members, and all patient care team members. They are responsible for the general supervision and coordination of the activities of dialysis nursing personnel on days, evenings, and when on call in order to ensure quality and continuity of patient care. The System Dialysis Registered Nurse accepts and supports the philosophy, purpose and objectives of ***** ***** and the Department of Nursing.
