The Ambulatory Patient Care Tech will work in collaboration with the multidisciplinary health care delivery team under the direction of the Registered Nurse, to perform basic nursing care activities, assist to maintain a safe, clean, stocked patient care setting, assist staff members and help direct patient flow

Collect data and accurately document information for meaningful use, Recognize abnormalities and report findings, Provide basic nursing care, Check and ensure all relevant equipment is in working order, Collect specimens for testing, Meet documentation requirements, Assist with patient flow and unit efficiency, Communicate effectively with patients and staff, Perform laboratory procedures, Follow directions precisely, Attend in-services and maintain certifications.
