The Pediatric Emergency Department is a 32-bed unit and Level 1 trauma and burn center for pediatric patients who have not yet reached their 15th birthday. The department provides emergency care for a wide range of medical illnesses and minor injuries for children from birth to age 22, including patients followed in subspecialty clinics. The team is cohesive and dynamic, aiming to provide excellent family-centered care to children and their families.
