Roles Responsibility
Serve as a resource to colleagues, advocate for patients/families, deliver safe and effective care independently, document nursing process accurately, plan and implement patient care, utilize patient/family focus on cost containment, reduce communication barriers, individualize care, advocate for patients based on knowledge of condition, respect confidentiality, participate in identifying and addressing discipline-specific issues and needs, provide data analysis on an ongoing basis, collect and report effectiveness of patient care documentation, participate in continuous improvement activities.
