Perform accurate and complete assessments on patients within established time frames; requests consult as indicated. Establishes and updates a patient plan of care based on periodic assessments. Assist with providing for the physical comfort and safety of patients. Attend rounds with physicians, assist with exams, discuss patient progress, and implement physician’s orders. Supervises staff and intervenes in emergencies. Evaluate and manage patient’s pain levels. Perform QA initiatives and patient education.
