Includes patient care, reporting patient attitudes, conditions or unusual circumstances, maintaining equipment, and pristine units. Nurse Extern I responsible for direct patient care, strengthening self-confidence, learning disease processes, interacting with *****care providers, expanding clinical knowledge and skills, familiarizing to hospital environment, gaining clinical experience, and assisting RN/LVN in patient care activities.

Part-time or full-time active student status, Successful completion of the first term of nursing courses of a professional Registered Nurse nursing program, Must be currently enrolled and in good academic standing in a professional Registered Nurse nursing program, Initial term including didactic/skills lab must include fundamentals, Return of instructor evaluations indicating satisfactory performance of fundamental nursing skills, Successful completion of preceptor tool and core competency at 90 days and annually, Present proof of continued enrollment and passing grade in nursing classes until graduation and good academic standing, One year experience in inpatient general hospital setting preferred Type
