Psychologist – Gastroenterology


The Psychologist is responsible for the care of patients in the hospital and clinics, as well as research, educational and advocacy initiatives as determined by the Division and/or Center leadership.

Roles Responsibility
Provide clinical services for patients at ***** Hospital and other approved sites, oversee the medical care team, manage direct patient care, actively participate in family centered care, refer patients to specialists and relevant ancillary services, utilize defined chain of command, respond to team members and outside providers in a timely manner, participate in advocacy initiatives, contribute to public policy advancement, participate in research activities, engage in educational programs, ensure quality & compliance by following established procedures and quality improvement objectives.
Desired Qualification
PhD in Clinical Psychology, Postdoctoral fellowship in clinical psychology, Ethical concepts in patient care, Continuing Education commitment, Legal and ethical standards in care delivery, Collaborative research participation, Childhood psychology, Teaching/supervision interest
