Psychologist- Colorectal Surgery


The Psychologist is responsible for the care of patients in the hospital and clinics, as well as research, educational and advocacy initiatives as determined by the Division and/or Center leadership.

Roles Responsibility
Provide clinical services for patients, Provide oversight of the medical care team, Provide on-call services, Actively participate in family centered care, Participate in CNMC’s advocacy initiatives, Conduct research, Participate in CNMC's medical education programs, Follow established bylaws and procedures, Identify problems related to patient services and make recommendations, Review and prepare protocol for use by staff, Organizational Commitment/Identification
Desired Qualification
PhD in Clinical Psychology, Successful completion of postdoctoral fellowship in clinical psychology, Experience as member of a multidisciplinary team, Knowledge of legal and ethical standards for the delivery of psychological care
