Roles Responsibility
Contributes to the assessment of patients by collecting data for analysis by an RN, Performs plan of care interventions including medication administration, IV set up and delivery of maintenance IV fluids, specimen collection, and wound care, Assists patients with performing activities of daily living such as personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation, Assists with patient discharge and admission activities, Monitors, documents, and communicates patient status and reactions to interventions, Implements the plan of nursing care and communicates abnormal findings to RN team lead, Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement, and the ability to work with minimal supervision, Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate action.
