Adolescent Med Physician (CA)


The clinical associate physician is responsible for the care of patients in the hospital and clinics, as well as some advocacy and educational initiativesas determined by the Division Chief and/or the Center leadership.

Roles Responsibility
Provide clinical services for patients, Provide oversight of the medical care team, Provide on-call services, Actively participate in family centered care, Appropriately utilize the defined chain of command, Respond to team members and outside medical providers, Participate in CNMC’s advocacy initiatives, Contribute scholarly effort to public policy, Teach patients and families about treatment, Participate in specific health promotion, educational programs, Participate in hospital/university-wide educational programs, Provide timely feedback to trainees, Ensure adequate orientation for the care by trainees, Supervise and train clinical professionals and students effectively, Follow established bylaws, policies and procedures, Complete all clinical documentation, Identify problems related to patient services, Cooperate and participate in the development of policies affecting medical practice, Review and prepare protocol, Evaluate patient care, Participate in evaluation of peers and support staff, Acknowledge and report medical errors, Participate in efforts to prevent errors
